Who is organizing PhileFest?
We’re a small group of fun loving fans ourselves who saw this as the perfect opportunity to give classic scifi fandom the party it deserves.
It encouraged us to do more than just an event. So we started a company, Off Brand Events, so we can bring all kinds of fantastic and fun events to the Twin Cities (and beyond?). All things that are – like us – just a little… Off. In a good way.

Laura is an incredibly talented graphic artist as well as a massive scifi fan. She has help come up with many of the design ideas for the website, the promotional material, and so much more. We are extrememly fortunate and happy to have Laura on the PhileFest staff!
